propFEST2026 Charity Bazaar

Date: 1–2 Feb 2026

Location: Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur Bukit Jalil

Behind the success of propFEST2026 was a journey filled with uncertainty and perseverance. During the preparation stage, the organizing team encountered one of its biggest challenges — securing a venue for the event. For the past three years, the venue that had generously supported propFEST was unable to continue its sponsorship due to unforeseen circumstances. As a result, the team faced significant pressure, and even up to one month before the event, the venue remained unresolved.

Just when the challenge seemed most critical, Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur Bukit Jalil stepped forward with timely support, enabling the event to proceed as planned. We extend our deepest appreciation to Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur Bukit Jalil for their generosity, and heartfelt thanks to all volunteers and merchants who continued to stand with us despite the uncertainties. Their trust and commitment made it possible for propFEST2026 to move forward and fulfill its mission.

Held on 1–2 February 2026, propFEST2026 successfully raised RM400,000 for more than 50 beneficiary groups, featuring over 40 stalls and attracting an estimated 2,000–3,000 attendees. A total of 418 orphans participated in specially designed mindfulness and financial literacy activities aimed at nurturing self-awareness, confidence, and responsible financial thinking.

A key highlight of the event was the presentation of an Asia Record certificate to Persatuan Amal Semangat Semut for the “Largest Cumulative-Reach Financial Literacy and Anti-Scam Education Program for Orphans Implemented by an NGO With Full Donation Distribution.” From 2023 to 2026, the program has cumulatively served 2,328 orphans, with monetary and in-kind sponsorships exceeding RM2 million, reflecting the sustained impact of the initiative.

propFEST2026 also showcased the growing international spirit behind the movement. Volunteers self-funded their travel from cities including Tokyo, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, Hangzhou, and Taipei, demonstrating how compassion and service can transcend geographical boundaries while embodying the collective strength of the “Ant Spirit.”

One of the most touching moments occurred during the opening ceremony when an 86-year-old volunteer from Japan traveled at his own expense to perform a graceful traditional Japanese dance for the distinguished guests. His heartfelt performance deeply moved the audience and beautifully symbolized a spirit of generosity and love that transcends borders.

This year’s program also introduced two new activities that were warmly received by participants. The “Gratitude & Filial Piety Program”, hosted by Lin Yufeng, Chairman of the antNERGY Taiwan Chapter and one of the World’s Eight Great Speakers, encouraged participants to reflect on appreciation, family values, and personal growth.

Meanwhile, the “Friendship Matching Session”, hosted by propFEST2026 Sponsorship President PeMni Tan, provided a welcoming platform for participants to build meaningful connections and expand their social circles. Through positive interaction and open dialogue, the session created an atmosphere of warmth and encouragement, becoming one of the most engaging segments of the event.

The success of propFEST2026 was made possible through the collective efforts of over 100 merchants, dedicated volunteers, and the strong support of the community. Together, their contributions transformed challenges into achievements, demonstrating that when individuals unite with a shared purpose, even the smallest efforts can create extraordinary impact.
